Q1: How do you control the quality of translation.

The quality of our translation is controlled under the following process.

Coordinate - Our experienced coordinators analyze requests from our customers and allocate best resources for each project. Before starting the translation, coordinators clalify items which may affect the quality of translation. The items include whether there are any reference material, past translations, and specified style etc.

Translation - Our translators are experienced professional translators who have passed our screening based on their background and our translation test. Most of them have specialised field such as IT, finance, law, medical, etc. and equipped with the "translation skills".

Proofreading - Our proofreaders check, modify and improve the translation. Various points such as consistency of the terms and whether the translation is easy to read/understand are thoroughly checked at this stage.

Delivery and after delivery - We quickly review and amend if there are any corrections required after the delivery. Customers' feedback are also applied in the next projects. For long-term projects, we create and update the database of past translations and terminology list to use during the next translation.

Q2: How do you decide the price ?

There are basic rates for each language pair. On top of that, following factors are reflected to our price.

Additional charge

Difficulty levels (if the level is high, 5-10% UP)
Urgent project (ex. delivery on the same day or following day, 1.5-2 times of normal charges depending on the volume)
Layout (ex. diagram, PowerPoint)

Discount

  • When the volume is big or the project is long-term basis.
  • Regular clients

Q3:  Are there any inconvenience if I request your service from countries other than Singapore?

If internet is available, you are usually able to use our service without inconvenience. In most cases, sending and receiving translation data is done by email. We can use Skype for communication and FTP for sending big files.

Please feel free to contact us by e-mail or phone. We can respond to you in English, Japanese, and Chinese. We check our e-mail on a regular basis even outside operating hour.

Q4: Please explain how you deal with confidential information.

We handle data received from our customers carefully uder complete control and prevent the data from leaking outside. We conclude a nondisclosure agreement with translators and associates.

We also enter into a nondisclosure agreement on customers' demand.
